Meeting of the City Council was held at 7:00 o’clock P.M.
Present,-President Hart, Councillors Hall, Hetel, Swartz, Daly O’Brien, Scatamacchia and Macek
Records of the last meeting were approved.
Councillor Daly O’Brien was appointed to read the records for the present week.
Notice was received from Mayor Fiorentini of the appointments of the following to the Council On Aging. Said appointments effective October 17th to expire October 17 2010.

Notice was received from Mayor Fiorentini of the appointment
of Robert DeFusco as Purchasing Director/Procurement Officer. Said
appointment effective October 19th.
Application was received for Tag Days from the National
HHS Model United Nations, December 14-16.
Notice of Hearing – Revised – was received from the
U S Army Corp of Engineers for National Grid regarding the
permit application to conduct work in various waters of the
United States as listed, with the comment period no later
than November 9th.
Communication was received from F.S. Gessner, the Right
of Way Project Manager submitting information regarding the
Algonquin Gas Transmission, LLC, East to West Hub Line
Application was received for a Special Permit from
Attorney James Waldron for “Trident Management Corp” requesting
to build a four-unit multifamily dwelling at 51 Webster st;
Assessor’s Map 203, Block 34, Lot 1A; to be used as apartments.
Communication was received from Councillor Daly’Brien
requesting a discussion regarding a street light request for
Middle rd on pole 206/102-84, fed from Amesbury rd.
Communication was received from Councillor Scatamacchia
requesting a discussion regarding truck traffic on Hunter av.
Communication was received from Councillor Macek
requesting a discussion regarding traffic on Rte 110,
Amesbury rd, at intersection with Elliott st and the
Communication was received from Councillor Hall
requesting a discussion regarding a 4-way stop sign on
Merrimac rd at Amesbury Line rd on behalf of Mayor Fiorentini.

On motion of Councillor Daly O’Brien to suspend the
rules to introduce the following Hearing petition and
Zoning Ordinance, the yeas and nays were as follows:
Petition was received from the City of Haverhill
requesting a hearing Relating to Zoning Change – Rezoning of
the Armory Property on Kenoza av – to place the entire property
in the CC zone.
