City Clerk Announces “Top Dog” Contest
HAVERHILL – City Clerk, Kaitlin M. Wright, announced the second annual “Top Dog” contest. Residents who license or relicense their dogs may participate for a chance to have their loyal companion named Haverhill’s “2023 Top Dog.” Entries will begin being accepted on February 1, 2023.
The 1st place winner will receive 2023 dog license #1 and their dog’s picture will be displayed in the City Clerk’s Office and posted on the website. The 2nd and 3rd place winners will get license #2 and #3. Participants will need to submit a favorite photo of their loyal companion when they apply for their license. Photos should be of high detail and contain only one dog. Licensing may be done in person at the Clerk’s Office- 4 Summer Street, Room 118, by mail, or online.
The contest ends on February 28, 2022 and the winners will be decided on Wednesday, March 1, 2022. For residents that own more than one dog, they may enter each of them. A copy of a valid rabies certificate is required for licensing.
