Wedding Ceremonies
We will start performing wedding ceremonies at City Hall beginning on April 1st, 2023 for a fee of $100 (cash only).
For couples seeking a short and simple wedding ceremony, we offer the ability to be married by one of our on-staff Justices of the Peace here at City Hall.
Requirements:
1) There is a $100 CASH ONLY charge for the Justice of the Peace service
2) Couples may bring no more than 8 guests, for a total of 10 attendees including the couple
3) Please plan to arrive at City Hall early as ceremonies will start at the predetermined time. Arriving more than 15 minutes late will result in a possible change in date or time of ceremony
4) No decorations or alcohol allowed on premises
5) If you did not file your marriage intention here at the Haverhill City Clerk's office, please bring with you your valid marriage license on the day of the ceremony
There is no ATM at City Hall, so please plan to bring the required amount of cash with you.
