Communication was received from Councillor Michitson requesting to introduce Creative Haverhill Executive Director David Zoffoli to discuss installation of a permanent tourist map in Columbus Park.
Mr. Zoffoli discussed the proposed permanent tourist map and the installation location in Columbus Park and asked the Council to approve the gift of the map to the City of Haverhill to be installed by September 1, 2012.
ON MOTION OF COUNCILLOR RYAN TO APPROVE THE GIFT OF THE MAP TO THE CITY OF HAVERHILL AND THE INSTALLATION IN COLUMBUS PARK.

Council Committee Reports and Announcements
Councillor Lepage presented the Minutes of Administration & Finance Committee held on August 8, 2012 regarding the payment of lieu of taxes (PILOT) program. Numerous representatives from non-profit organizations attended the meeting and voiced their opposition to the program. A unanimous vote was taken by the Committee to take no further action on the matter.
