ORDERED: By virtue of the authority vested in me, as Mayor, by the City Charter and Ordinances of the City of Haverhill and the General Laws of the Commonwealth, I have this day, appointed the following names persons to serve as Precinct Officers in the several wards of the City for the year 2012.

On motion of Councillor Ryan to suspend the rules to discuss the proposed MBTA Service Reductions on 2012. *
President Michitson spoke of the hearings scheduled to discuss potential service cuts in Haverhill. Mr. David Van Dam stated that the Mayor had requested a hearing in Haverhill. A hearing is scheduled for March 5, at 90 Washington St., from 6:00PM to 8:00PM. Councillor Ryan encouraged the community to attend and voice opposition to this plan. Councillor Scatamacchia requested a letter to Senator Baddour.
