Motions, Orders and Resolutions ORDERED: By virtue of the authority vested in me, as Mayor, by the City Charter and Ordinances of the City of Haverhill and the General Laws of the Commonwealth, I have this day, appointed the following names persons to serve as Precinct Officers in the several wards of the City for the year 2012. P R O C L A M A T I O N On motion of Councillor Ryan to suspend the rules to discuss the proposed MBTA Service Reductions on 2012. * President Michitson spoke of the hearings scheduled to discuss potential service cuts in Haverhill. Mr. David Van Dam stated that the Mayor had requested a hearing in Haverhill. A hearing is scheduled for March 5, at 90 Washington St., from 6:00PM to 8:00PM. Councillor Ryan encouraged the community to attend and voice opposition to this plan. Councillor Scatamacchia requested a letter to Senator Baddour. Meeting adjourned at 7:39 o’clock P.M.
