Councillor Hart left the chambers

On motion of Councillor Ryan to suspend the rules to discuss the proposed MBTA Service Reductions on 2012. *
PASSED Yeas 7, Nays 0, Absent 2

President Michitson spoke of the hearings scheduled to discuss potential service cuts in Haverhill. Mr. David Van Dam stated that the Mayor had requested a hearing in Haverhill. A hearing is scheduled for March 5, at 90 Washington St., from 6:00PM to 8:00PM. Councillor Ryan encouraged the community to attend and voice opposition to this plan. Councillor Scatamacchia requested a letter to Senator Baddour.
