1. Approval of Records of the Previous Meeting

Minutes were approved.

2. Assignment of the minutes review for the next Meeting

Councillor Ryan was appointed to read the records.

3. Communications from the Mayor

Communication was received from Mayor Fiorentini requesting to address Council regarding the City’s FY13 Budget.

ORDERED: That as part of the fiscal year 2013 annual budget the sum of $148,165,963 be and is hereby raised and appropriated within the categories as designated as appropriated on the attached and further that said appropriation be funded in the following manner: (see document for complete text)

$512,750 Wastewater Receipts
$750,000 Free Cash
$146,686,630 Taxation & Other Receipts

ORDERED: That as part of fiscal year 2013 annual budget the sum of $7,953,571 be appropriated to operate the Wastewater Department for items marked as appropriation on the attached and $8,035,461 come from Wastewater revenue, $430,860 to come from Wastewater available fund balance and that $512,750 be appropriated in the General Fund and funded from Wastewater receipts. Communication was received from Councillor McGonagle requesting to introduce Anthony Ciampa, President of Haverhill Police Patrolmen’s Association, to give an update on staffing levels. 

There was a related communication from Haverhill Police Patrolmen’s Association concerning staffing.
ANTHONY CIAMPA, PRESIDENT OF HAVERHILL POLICE PATROLMEN’S ASSOCIATION STATED THAT THE SERVICE CALLS FOR HAVERHILL ON THE SPREADSHEET WERE MISLEADING. THEY NEED ADDITIONAL OFFICERS FOR THE SIZE OF THE CITY AND POPULATION
