About Haverhill's Vietnam War Memorial Project
With the help of Vietnam Veteran & former City Councilor Louis Fossarelli and Marine Veteran Ralph Basiliere, Haverhill recently moved its Vietnam War Memorial from an obscure spot on the north side of the Basiliere Bridge to Mill Brook Park. The modest memorial is dedicated to the 13 known casualties of the War who were Haverhill sons. Funds are now being raised with the help of Mayor Fiorentini's recently formed Vietnam Veterans Memorial Ad Hoc Committee to expand the memorial to include all Vietnam veterans from Haverhill and to improve Mill Brook Park.
