ALL Haverhill electricity customers were automatically enrolled in the Colonial Power aggregation program 2 years ago, which the company required. But anyone can opt out of the aggregation program via the Colonial Power website - http://colonialpowergroup.com/haverhill/ - or by calling them at 866-485-5858 Ext 1.
If you are not sure if you are in the program, you can click the following link to learn how to find the answer on your bill: https://colonialpowergroup.com/national-grid/ Most residents and electrical users were AUTOMATICALLY ENROLLED in the city's aggregation program - unless you opted-out and/or signed up for an alternative plan with another third party provider. Please use the link above for help finding the right way to review your bill or contact your provider to assist you in determining your status.
WE ENCOURAGE ANYONE WITH OUTSTANDING QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS ABOUT THEIR STATUS TO CALL COLONIAL POWER AT (866) 485-5858 Ext. 1
With cold weather, National Grid and other electricity providers raised their rates in November, we want to remind everyone in our municipal aggregation program that power supply costs are locked in through November 2023 . The city contracted for this program to stabilize pricing – and it is working! According to the latest report from the city’s Community Choice Power Supply Program, our municipal electricity aggregation program has saved Haverhill electricity customers $1,824,257 since the program started in November 2020.
Electricity customers in our aggregation program may still see increases this winter due to increases in the cost of electricity “delivery” - but NOT in the “supply” cost line item which cannot be increased until November 2023. We strongly recommend remaining in the program.
